WatsonX and Sopra Steria for inclusivity: IRIS Chatbot

IVèS, a European leader in Deaf accessibility, Sopra Steria, and IBM collaborated to create IRIS, the world's first conversational assistant in sign language for the deaf and hard of hearing. IVèS created IRIS using Sopra Steria's Alive Intelligence (SSAI) solution, which itself integrates the innovative technology of IBM watsonx Assistant.

It is designed to break down communication barriers and promote inclusion by allowing exchanges in French Sign Language (LSF), Quebec Sign Language (LSQ), American Sign Language (LSA) and Tunisian Sign Language (LST) and can communicate and converse by signing in real time.
