An unprecedented context, between hybrid threats and digital sovereignty

Organised under the aegis of the French Ministry of the Interior, Milipol Paris has for nearly 40 years been the world's leading event for those involved in internal safety and security. The 2025 edition is being held in a geopolitical environment marked by an increase in the number of crises, regional instability and the emergence of new threats linked to artificial intelligence and disinformation.

Against this backdrop, Sopra Steria and CS Group are defending an integrated vision of security, combining sovereign technologies, trusted artificial intelligence and operational expertise. "The boundaries between the physical and digital worlds have become blurred: security today has to be thought of globally, from the field to the command post. Our ambition is to make forces more agile and resilient, thanks to technologies that are sovereign, responsible and fully operational. Milipol Paris is an essential showcase to demonstrate that innovation, when mastered, strengthens confidence and sovereignty", explains Etienne Loth, Homeland Security Market Director at Sopra Steria.

Sopra Steria's experts will be on hand throughout the show to present the Group's know-how through demonstrations and conference presentations, enabling constructive dialogue with the entire ecosystem of customers, partners and industry experts.

  • These solutions embody an integrated approach to security, based on trusted AI, cybersecurity and control of critical systems.
  • Through this presence, the Group is reaffirming its role as the benchmark technology partner for European public institutions.

Paris, 14 November 2025 - At a time when geopolitical tensions, disinformation and new technological threats are redefining the security priorities of States, Sopra Steria, a leading European player in digital Defence and Security, and its subsidiary CS Group are taking part in the 24ᵉ edition of the Milipol Paris trade fair, from 18 to 21 November 2025, to present their innovations at the service of internal security and European sovereignty.

Present across the entire value chain, the Group connects the digital and physical worlds to design resilient and interoperable critical systems, at the service of governments and citizens.

A comprehensive offering for a sovereign and intelligent security continuum

Sopra Steria's stand at Milipol 2025 will feature a comprehensive offering built around three business areas and a cross-disciplinary section dedicated to artificial intelligence, illustrating the diversity and complementarity of its expertise in the fields of defence and security:

  • Resilience and safety of critical entities: protection of sensitive sites and vital infrastructures using solutions combining physical and cyber security, real-time supervision, intrusion detection and anti-drone systems.

  • Investigation and day-to-day security: sovereign digital and biometric tools for identification, authentication and security at border crossings and in judicial investigations.

  • Command and crisis management: steering and decision-making platforms to facilitate the coordination of emergency services and the management of major events in real time.

  • Artificial intelligence and operational excellence: cross-functional AI applications to support analysis, decision-making and action, with use cases such as the automated transcription of complaints, fingerprint recognition and the detection of suspicious activity.

This approach illustrates the Group's strategy of connecting the digital and the field to guarantee the continuity of security, from the sensor to the command post. By combining sovereign generative AI, cybersecurity, data exploitation and critical systems, Sopra Steria is helping major European public institutions, such as the Ministries of the Interior, Defence and Justice and security agencies, to modernise their tools and consolidate their strategic autonomy.
