Paris, December 2, 2025 – Sopra Steria, a major player in the European tech sector, has climbed to 3rd place worldwide in the Happy Trainees World 2026 ranking, a label recognising the companies rated most highly by their interns, apprentices and international corporate volunteering participants. At a time when talent attraction is a key factor in business competitiveness, this recognition reflects Sopra Steria’s efforts to better support young people and enhance the quality of their experience.
Indicators reflecting the Group’s commitment to young talent
The 2026 edition shows significant progress across all key indicators. More than nine out of ten students recommend Sopra Steria for an internship, apprenticeship or international corporate volunteering — a strong signal in a market where recommendations and employer reputation play a central role in young people’s choices. The TraineesIndex® has reached 84.7%, up four points; this indicator measures students’ perception of a company’s social performance. The overall score has risen to 4.2/5, confirming improvements in the student experience within the Group.
Respondents particularly highlighted career development (88.4% favourable opinions), the quality of the working environment (85.5%) and alignment with the company’s purpose (86.2%). These results demonstrate that Sopra Steria is moving in the right direction to meet the expectations of a generation seeking meaning, impact and high-quality working conditions.
