Paris, | minute read

Sopra Steria, a European leader in consulting, digital services and software development, through its Aeroline vertical, will help modernize and accelerate development of new products offered by NAVBLUE. The flight operations subsidiary NAVBLUE provides digital products and services on the ground and onboard any aircraft and offering expertise in a range of areas, including digital cockpit operations, Operations Control Centre (OCC) systems, Flight Ops Engineering, Performance Based Navigation (PBN) and Air Traffic Management (ATM).

The existing partnership, which dates back 13 years, is pushed one major step further, through the NAVBLUE Software Factory to which the Group provides its Engineering expertise in application development & industrialization, data management and cybersecurity, combined with its knowledge of the Aeronautical sector. Based on an efficient ‘Agility at scale’ implementation (SAFe based), the delivery model draws on global teams (Canada, France, Poland, India) that will rally 90 Sopra Steria employees and a similar number from NAVBLUE for the next 3 years.

"We are very proud to be selected as partner of NAVBLUE for the construction of all of their new solutions in such difficult and very competitive market. This large-scale project perfectly illustrates our end-to-end strategy in Aeronautics and our ability to design and carry out major digital transformation projects" said Xavier Pecquet, Group EXCOM member at Sopra Steria.
