Sopra Steria to support Pinnacle Group in enhancing accommodation experience for the British Armed Forces through Ministry of Defence contract

| minute read

Sopra Steria, a European leader in consulting, digital services and software development, announced it will support Pinnacle Group fulfil the newly awarded National Accommodation Management contract, as part of the British Ministry of Defence’s (MoD) Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) Accommodation contract.

Seven-year deal to launch new estates management platform and digital services .

Sopra Steria will be providing estates integration for more than 49,000 service family accommodations, on behalf of Pinnacle Group, bringing together all stakeholders including Shared Services Connected Limited Services Connected Limited (SSCL) – a joint venture between Sopra Steria and the Cabinet Office – and third-party maintenance providers onto a central platform.

All property information will be centralised to improve accessibility and maintenance of accommodation on one hand and to optimise occupancy on the other. Families of occupants will be able to report any problems, follow the progress of their requests and get information more easily. Finally, as Sopra Steria's digital platform provides an overview of occupants' requests, these will be managed more efficiently and quickly. This new platform will enhance military families’ experience of living in service family accommodation.

This is the second estates management contract with the MoD’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) that Sopra Steria has been awarded. This builds on a long-standing relationship between Sopra Steria and the DIO.
