Socheat is the Managing Director for Sopra Steria Ventures, based in Paris. He has over two decades of experience across various industries, starting in trading functions, then as an operator of a financial service unicorn. He founded a cleantech startup, transitioned to tech as a senior digital corporate executive for a mission-driven public investment bank before turning to VC. He also spends time as a business angel, mentor for impact startups, and jury member for various top-tier accelerators. Socheat holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford, a Master in Finance from Paris II Assas, and a VC program diploma from Stanford University. Socheat still enjoys his mate from his Uruguayan days.
