Sopra Steria, best place to work 

For the fourth consecutive year, Sopra Steria in Norway is on the top of the ranking of the best workplaces for companies with more than 500 employees. 

It is the first time that a company has come in first place for four consecutive years for the Great Place to Work award. Sopra Steria also won in 2017, 2018 and 2019, having been among the leaders for several years prior. Great Place to Work measures over 500 Norwegian companies each year.

In 2021, Sopra Steria has been recognised as one of the 25 Best European Multinational Corporation by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The ranking of our entities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France and NHS SBS teams in the United Kingdom contributed to this overall recognition.

To be flexible

The wellbeing of our people is fundamental to everything inside and out of work. Therefore, we promote a healthy work-life balance, and if people need greater flexibility, we work with them to resolve any issues they may have. We are always looking for new ways to listen and look after our employees. For example, our employees are offered remote office and flexible working hours.

Gender equality, a major societal challenge for our businesses

As a major player in the digital sector, we are convinced that professional equality between women and men is a major challenge for enriching our corporate culture, energizing our businesses and activities, and consolidating the relationships we have with our teams, customers and partners. The Group is committed to increasing the proportion of women on the Executive Committee from 12% to 30% and the proportion of women in senior management from 15% to 20% by 2025. For several years now, we have also been taking steps to make our businesses more attractive to women and to ensure professional equality.

In 2021, our group signed up to the "7 Women's Empowerment Principles" of the UN Women's Charter.
