The Group is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, and it abides by the fundamental principles and rights in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

Since 2017, the Group is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (GC Advanced, top 8%) and it abides by the fundamental principles and rights in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (nationality, place of residence, gender, ethnic origin, religion, language, or any different issue). 

Sopra Steria Germany actively participates in Diversity Day. Initiatives around equality are also carried out with the Female Talents Program and the Girl’s Day.

Sopra Steria Norway is a partner of MAK (Mangfold, Ambisjon og Kompetanse), a partnership that inscribes diversity in the group to work on issues of equality and inclusiveness.

Sopra Steria has signed a sponsorship agreement with the 21st Century Club, whose mission is to promote a positive vision of diversity, equal opportunities and republican meritocracy among decision-makers in the economic, political and media worlds.

Our Group supports the Association's actions and development and has joined the "Major Donors Club" operation, which supports the operation of the 21st Century Club.

By signing the Diversity Charter, Sopra Steria is taking a proactive approach to promoting diversity alongside more than 4,000 other organisations. 

The Group is committed to deploying concrete action to support diversity and to communicating regularly on these actions:

• Raising awareness and training our executives and managers, and then gradually all employees, on the challenges of non-discrimination and diversity.
• Promoting application of the principle of non-discrimination in all its forms in all acts of management and decision-making of the company or organization.
• Promoting representation of the diversity of French society in all its differences and richness within the workforce and at all levels of responsibility.
• Communicating our commitment to all our employees as well as to our customers, partners and suppliers, in order to encourage them to respect and implement these principles.
• Making development and implementation of the diversity policy a subject of social dialogue with employee representatives.
• Regularly assessing the progress made, informing both internal and external stakeholders of the practical results of implementing our commitments.

"Digital technology, a driver for diversity". Sopra Steria supports the actions carried out by Diversidays to promote diversity in the digital sector.

In 2021, our Group is a partner of the Déclics Numériques Tour de France, which began in Lyon at the end of March. This programme aims to facilitate the transition to digital professions through 3 aspects:

• Discovering career paths of inspiring personalities
• Enabling participants to attend workshops to improve their digital skills.
• Benefit from the help of experts to build a professional project.
