Our commitments

Diversity, a priority


The Group is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, and it abides by the fundamental principles and rights in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

Since 2017, the Group is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (GC Advanced, top 8%) and it abides by the fundamental principles and rights in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (nationality, place of residence, gender, ethnic origin, religion, language, or any different issue). 

The Group also reaffirms its fundamental principles and its values in its Code of Ethics with: 

  • a support to the 10 principles related to the respect of Human Rights, international working laws, environmental protection, and preventing and fighting corruption
  • a promotion of these principles and strengthening of our actions 

Lastly, the Group’s commitment and performance in the area of Corporate Responsibility have been recognized with the award of the advanced CSR Gold Medal by Ecovadis, a global rating platform applying 21 social, ethical, environmental and supply-chain criteria.

Sopra Steria Germany actively participates in Diversity Day. Initiatives around equality are also carried out with the Female Talents Program and the Girl’s Day.

MAK


Sopra Steria Norway is also a partner of MAK (Mangfold, Ambisjon og Kompetanse), a partnership that inscribes diversity in the group to work on issues of equality and inclusiveness.
